On a recent trip to Hawaii, I was transformed into a mermaid. I’ve always felt like a mermaid and now I have photographic proof! I love being in nature, but I’m especially at home in water. When I’m in sea, ocean, lake or pond, I become liquid. Hard edges bend and blur, I am fluid and luminous. Tension melts away, my imagination is released, time dissolves; I become powerful, mysterious, magical. In my element I know my essence again, my truth; and the truth of who I am is where my true beauty resides.
